Permanent members of the Government this afternoon worked with some ministries and sectors to review the realization of solutions of stimulating investment, assisting dismissed laborers, financing enterprises to secure production and employment.
To stimulate investment in 2009, the Government is asking the legislature for an additional package of VND 11.5 billion.
PM Dũng placed importance on assisting enterprises to maintain their production activities and secure jobs for their employees, considering these tasks as top priorities. He agreed to continue loosening monetary policies to boost production while stressing the need of guaranteeing credit quality.
He urged to restructure capital sources to make operations of State-owned groups and enterprises really healthy.
The Government chief also required that all State budget-financed projects must use domestically-made materials in order to stimulate producition.
He agreed to raise funds for assisting laborers losing jobs, promoting labor export and providing favorable loans for vocational training, even in military schools.
Concluding the meeting, the PM expected to see the rapid and effective coordination from all ministries, sectors and localities to fulfill the assignments.
