Vietnam and Cambodia can learn experience from each other by boosting cooperation in the fields of planning, trade and investment, said PM Nguyen Tan Dzung today at the meeting with Cambodian Minister of Planning Chhay Than who is on a working visit to Vietnam.
The guest's visit aimed at consolidating and enhancing the already close cooperation between Cambodia's Ministry of Planning and Vietnam's Ministry of Planning and Investment.
Minister Chhay Than expressed his sincere thanks to Vietnam's assistance during Cambodia's national liberation and construction causes, hoping that Vietnam would continue to train Cambodia’s public servants and share experience in economic development.
The two sides should further exchange delegations and boost cooperation, particularly in training public servants, said PM Dũng, confirming that Vietnam is ready to help enhance the capacity of Cambodian planning staff.
Earlier on the same day, Minister Chhay Than and his Vietnamese counterpart had talks and signed a cooperation agreement. Mr. Chhay Than believed that the agreement will help improve the quality of Cambodian planning staff.
