The Japanese government has decided to provide an ODA loan of up to 18,586 million yen (about 190 million USD) to Indonesia, local media reported.
The loan is aimed at promoting Indonesia’s efforts for economic and social reform under the “Fifth Development Policy Loan” and the “Second Infrastructure Reform Sector Development Programme,” the Jakarta Post said on Mar. 30.
Areas to be benefited from the loan are the stabilisation of the macro-economy, the improvement of the investment environment and governance, poverty alleviation, as well as infrastructure development.
The loan will be co-financing with the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank.
