Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh received on 2 April at his office in Vientiane a courtesy visit of Vietnamese Minister of Planning and Investment Vo Hong Phuc.
At the receptions, Prime Minister Bouasone praised and highly valued the visit to Laos of Vietnamese delegations as a big contribution to further enhancing the friendship relation and co-operation between Laos and Vietnam.
The Vietnamese delegation arrived here to discuss issues relating to the global economic and financial crisis.
Mr. Vo Hong Phuc expressed thanks to Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh for his warm welcome and confirmed that his ministry would continue to strengthen the co-operation with Laos counterpart and will encourage and support the Vietnamese businessmen to make more investment in Laos./.
