In his meeting with the Cambodian Minister of Industry, Mines and Energy today, PM Nguyen Tan Dung underlined the need to push up the cooperation between Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade (MIT) and Cambodia’s Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy (MIME), contributing to the bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
PM Dung highly valued the working visit made by the MIME’s senior officials, stating that under the agreements gained by the MIME and the MIT, the two countries will enhance cooperation in industry, energy, electricity and mining for the sake of the two peoples.
The Government chief also reiterated that energy and electricity coordination between the two countries is of strategic significance. He welcomed the bilateral deals on power trading and urged the two countries to enhance cooperation in the mining industry.
On behalf of Cambodia’s Government and people, Minister Suy Sem gave special thanks to the Vietnamese Government and people for their assistance to Cambodia./.
