Thanks to the Danish aid, residents in Mo Cay Nam district, southern province of Ben Tre, will have chances to access clean water supply

The Government chief agreed the project on clean water supply in Mo Cay Nam District, southern province of Ben Tre, which was funded by the Danish Government via the Program on Facility for Infrastructure Development (ORIO).
The People’s Committee of Ben Tre was assigned to instruct implementer to effectively spend the aid.
The PM also okayed a technical assistance project which aims to empower the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU) to design financial plans to raise public awareness of domestic violence in Vietnam in the period of 2009-2010. Out of the total €412,240, the Spanish Government provided €350,000. The rest will come from the VWU.
VWU was given permission to receive the aid through the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID).
The Government chief also approved in principle the agreement between the Vietnamese and French Governments for the establishment of the Ha Noi University of Science and Technology.
The Vietnamese leader assigned the Ministry of Education and Training to ink the agreement with French competent agency.
