A lot of Vietnamese real estate investors are planning to pocket money from overseas operations.
With 50% of the total capital of US $6 million, the Thu Duc Housing Development Joint-Stock Company cooperated with two US partners, California Newland Ventures LLC and Nature Coast Horries of Central Florida LLC, to sell residential areas in California and Mississippi as well as others states of the US during the time of 20 years.
In August 2010, the Vietnam-based Nguyen Alliance Corporation officially offered in Vietnam 150 apartments in Sai Gon Village, Westminster City, California.
In early September, Savills Vietnam also offered 150 superior apartments at 375 Kensington High Street in London.
Besides the US and the UK, Laos is also a favorable market for Vietnam’s real estate investors. Long Thanh Limited Company was licensed to invest US $1 billion in the construction of golf courses, five star hotels, commercial centers, hospitals and schools on an area of 557 ha in Vientiane.
In July 2010 Sai Gon Invest Group started building Lao Hung Hotel in Sam Neua, Hua Phan Province. This hotel will become the first international standard hotel in the province.
At the end of August, Ha Do Corporation and the Vientiane People’s Committee signed the investment contract worth of US $250 million for the construction of Noong Tha new urban area. The project is expected to be ground-broken in November 2010.
