Both the leaders of Japanese Parliament hoped to promote cooperation with Vietnam, noting that Japan always considers Vietnam one of its trustworthy partners in Asia.
The Japanese Parliament is now reviewing the Vietnam-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement for ratification, revealed the leaders of the Japanese legislative body.
The Vietnamese leader said that Vietnam always attaches importance to its ties with Japan, showing his pleasure at the enhanced cooperation between the two sides’ legislative bodies.
He thanked the Japanese Parliament for its support to resume ODA for Vietnam and confirmed the Southeast Asian country’s determination to cooperate closely with Japan for better use and management of this capital source.

Also on Monday and Tuesday, Mr. Manh met Chairman Furuta Moto of the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association, the Japan Business Federation’s Chairman Fujio Mitarai, and leaders of Sumitomo Corp. and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The hosts expressed their good impressions on the blossoming political relations between the two countries and hailed the two sides’ commitment to heightening the strategic partnership.
This morning, Party leader Manh received leaders of the Japanese Communist Party, Komeito Party, Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ), Social Democratic Party (SDP), and Mr. Ryotaro Sugi, Special Ambassador for the Japan-Vietnam Relationships.
