Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai delivered a reception to Lao Minister of Energy and Mining Soulivong Daravong who is on a working visit to Vietnam.
Minister Soulivong Daravong expressed his pleasure at greater energy cooperation between the two countries.
He also mentioned some issues related to the construction and operation of power projects jointly carried out by the two sides.
During his stay in Việt Nam, Mr. Soulivong had working sessions with Minister of Industry and Trade Vu Huy Hoang on ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in heavy industries and energy in the time to come.
Deputy PM Hai valued fruitful cooperation in the field of energy. He also clarified the Vietnamese Government’s views about investment and operation of power works in Laos.
